My Dog Ate My Homework

My dog ate my homework.
That mischievous pup
got hold of my homework
and gobbled it up.

My dog ate my homework.
It's gonna be late.
I guess that the teacher
will just have to wait.

My dog ate my homework.
He swallowed it whole.
I shouldn't have mixed it
with food in his bowl.
--Kenn Nesbitt

I like this poem because it is very funny and i like it!
There is a wild boar in these woods,
Dellum down, dellum down,
There is a wild boar in these woods,
He'll eat your meat and suck your blood.
Dellum down, dellum down.

Bangrum drew his wooden knife
Dellum down, dellum down,
And swore he'd take the wild boar's life.
Dellum down, dellum down.

The wild boar came in such a flash,
Dellum down, dellum down,
He broke his way through oak and ash.
Dellum down, dellum down.

I like this poem because a boar wouldn't suck your blood and you can realy imange it.
THE GRAVE OF SHELLEY

by: Oscar Wilde

IKE burnt-out torches by a sick man's bed
      Gaunt cypress-trees stand round the sun-bleached stone;
Here doth the little night-owl make her throne,
And the slight lizard show his jewelled head.
And, where the chaliced poppies flame to red,
In the still chamber of yon pyramid
Surely some Old-World Sphinx lurks darkly hid,
Grim warder of this pleasaunce of the dead.
Ah! sweet indeed to rest within the womb
Of Earth, great mother of eternal sleep,
But sweeter far for thee a restless tomb
In the blue cavern of an echoing deep,
Or where the tall ships founder in the gloom
Against the rocks of some wave-shattered steep.

I like this poem because it is sad, it says And, where the chaliced poppies flame to red.
after summer's rain
God's promise is remembered
glorious rainbow.

I like this poem beacuse it is like a quick story of a little part of the day

What do you think this poem is about?

school

School can be fun
School can be boring
school can bring friends
school can bring enemies
school can bring rules
But u can break them
school brings bullies
school bring work
School brings cheating
School you learn new thing
School you try you best
School you never give up
School have teacher you might like and hate
school where you meet new people

Wake at six o’clock
Get to school late
Get detention
No homework done
TEST, EXAM, TEST, EXAM

I like this poem because it tells you wat school is
"I'm In Love With Mud"
I'm in love with mud,
It's sad, I know, but true.
I just can't help but splash in it,
Or stomp a path right through.

It's sticky and it's dirty,
And it covers all my clothes.
But when I see it lying there,
A voice inside me grows...

...You can't resist, you know I'm right,
It's fun to play in mud!
Look at it just sitting there,
I really think you should!

I splatter in the grimy gloop,
I can't resist the ooze!
I run, I jump, I stamp about,
It drips into my shoes!

I like this poem because it is a funny delightful poem

A Feint On The Front

To the Supreme Commander In Chief:

The enemy has exposed himself on our right flank.
I believe this to be a ruse. Everything is too obvious,
even the '999' ploy. I do suggest that we heighten our awareness however. I still expect the assault to come from the left, as we have always believed it would. Just the mere fact of him deploying such a manuever lends me to believe the time is very close.

Your humble servant always

I like this poem because it tells you what happened at that time!
A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.

- Sheelagh Lennon -

I like this poem because it gets to your heart.
Shark

A shark is a pet
That you don't want to get.
There is nothing less fun than a shark.
He doesn't have fur
He won't cuddle or purr,
And he never takes walks in parks.

Instead he just stares
And intensely prepares,
As he circles and waits in the dark,
To nibble your nose
And your fingers and toes
For his bite is much worse than his bark

Ken Nesbitt
